Maryland Tax Connect is down for maintenance from August 21, 2026 until September 1, 2026 while we complete a critical upgrade to our tax systems that are more than 30 years old. Beginning September 1, 2026, Maryland Tax Connect will also support individual taxpayers, replacing iFile as Maryland’s online tax portal for individuals. If your due date falls during this maintenance period, the Office of the Comptroller will not assess penalties for payments that cannot be made due to the system transition.
